Book edge painting is an artistic technique where artwork is painted along the edges of a book’s pages. Often inspired by themes from the book itself—such as landscapes, symbols, or characters—edge paintings transform books into functional works of art, blending literature with visual craftsmanship and adding a unique, collectible touch.
A singular book can take up to 10 hours to complete. Series can take anywhere from 8-20 hours.

To order for pickup in Shallow Lake, ON, please email whimsicalworks@proton.me with the item name (single or series), book title, and any notes for your custom piece (Colour scheme, vision for piece, etc.). I will respond with a quote and the date avalable for pickup. At this time only cash and e-transfer is available. Note: you may be asked to provide a deposit.
